Almas Jiwani, President of UN Women Canada National Committee participated along with Tony Blair, Faith Foundation representative Kate Millar, the Faiths Act Fellowship Manager and other passionate leaders and influencers from 30 diverse organizations. The first Millennium Kids’ Roundtable took place on April 30, 2012. The roundtable was an opportunity for an open dialogue about the Millennium Kids’ Action Plan 2012-2013 in CBC-Context with Lorna Dueck’s Boardroom, in addition to brainstorming solutions to fulfilling Canada’s commitment to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs.)
