The month of May, marked the launch of UN Women in Winnipeg -‐ Maintoba at Global College, University of Winnipeg. Working with Ms. Mary Scott, Ms. McPhedran , Almas Jiwani talked about the role of UN Women in Winnipeg and built alliances with various civil society groups in Winnipeg to further work of equality in the province.
