    On October 28-November 2, 2013, Deputy Mayor of Kigali, Hope Tumukunde, was in Quito, Ecuador to share experiences from the Kigali City Initiative. The Initiative was part of UN Women’s “Safe Cities Free of Violence Against Women and Girls” Global Programme that was launched in 2010 in five pilot cities, including Quito and Kigali.
